    Thank you. I think I’m going to experiment with my Zermatt Origin and play with a strap wrench. I’ll see how repeatable it is swapping two different 300prc barrels. Maybe that’s an option going forward. If I end up building I won’t hesitate to reach out to you.

    Lots of good info and opinions passed my way. I’m liking the idea of wrench flats and using torque to keep the barrel on. When testing torque values did you test with magnum calibers? Does torquing with a crescent wrench and the stock held between the legs provide enough for big cartridge?

    I think the draw to the QC feature is not needing to remove the barreled action from the chassis to swap things out. I suppose throwing the vise on the barrel near the end of the fore end/stock may work but I’ve always put it as close to the action as I could when installing a barrel in the past.

    Just how much does a brake help prevent baffle erosion? I’m using the area 419 mounts for a few suppressors but have recently started to think a brake might be a nice thing to have. Is it a waste of money to switch to xeno? Then it mounts to a taper unlike the area 419 and still has left...

    You mean is the release hitting something under recoil? If so, no that’s not happening. I’m shooting prone on a mat with a bipod and a rear bag. Nothing else up by the mag area.

    It is latching when inserted. I can hear a positive click from the latch when inserting the mag. I can’t pull the mag out without releasing the mag latch

    I am having issues with an MPA long action chassis dropping the mag under recoil when rounds are in the mag. When it’s empty it stays latched just fine. Rifle is a 300prc, using CIP+ mags. Mag latch is adjusted to have the mag just below the bolt. Not sure what to try to keep the mag securely...

    Yeah my windage feels great. I think I will use it for a few range trips to see if it loosens up. Maybe it will start to feel better. If not I’ll reach out to them.

    Just received a 5-30x56 and the elevation turret locking mechanism is very tight. Additionally, it doesn’t completely lock the turret. Trying to unlock by twisting the top the turret did move a few clicks. Anyone else encounter this?

    Bix’n Andy issue in Zermatt TL3

    Thank you so much. This was my issue and with a little bit of polishing with a dremel I got it fixed. The Phillips head screw that holds that silver safety knob on is pretty finicky. I stripped it and ended up pulling the whole safety lever off to be able to polish the area I needed to get to.

    The trigger has clearance from the bottom metal and I think you’re right about the bolt not being the issue. earlier I adjusted the sear screw quite a ways out and it would still drop from time to time. I have not put the medium sear back in because when measuring I’m sitting at 0.154 inch...

    Ok, I’ll start there. The bolt does look close to the front of the stock bolt inlet but I didn’t know that could cause my issue.
