Rifle Scopes SR3/Proof Sendero ring height

I don’t run that exact setup but Low will get you where you need and still allow vortex covers.

    Preferred barrel blanks (the company)

I ordered a Nuc/Mausingfield prefit as well and didn’t send the action in. My barrel should be done this week if they are true to their turn time. I will say this.....ordered a Nuc prefit from LRI the same day and it shipped Friday.

    LongSwords flying out tonight.

KMW stocks for me have been like the ARC lamp shade. I said wtf.....until I used it and then it made all the sense in the world.

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

Less disappointed in myself for not having sent mine back yet.

    Vudoo Gun Works 17M2

22lr. I don’t like being a slave to ONE manufacturer of ammo. And if you were a 17m2 owner that got caught out of ammo during the 17m2 glut you’d say the same. I also already own a 17m2 just not a vudoo.

    Putting Brakes on Hunting Rifles

It’s not just the noise but the concussion loudeners tend to transmit. That pressure wave plays hell on the tympanic membrane.

    Vudoo Gun Works 17M2

It’s been out of production for several years and Eley doesn’t seem to be interested in bringing it back. The Remington labeled ammo I have was made by Eley

WTB Manners with mini chassis for Howa 1500

Manners just put a boatload of stocks ready to ship on their store.

    Vudoo Gun Works 17M2

I sure as hell hope Eley comes through. I have a NULA 17M2 that dotes on it. For whatever reason the Hornady ammo has never shot as well or reliably as the Eley. The latest batch of hornady has resulted in about 5% of the rounds not going off reliably but what I have left of the Eley goes bang...

Rifle Scopes ARC Rings & Kahles

I never asked them but my 318 has been fine for a couple hundred rounds in them torqued to 55lbs

Gunsmithing Cut rifled Savage Pre-fit - Who does this work?

Without a doubt HawkHill Custom is where you need to look. On the shelf and absolute hammers.

Rifle Scopes Floating Dot or Floating Cross hair in the center of the reticle?

That one disappears the absolute WORST for me. Love the scope and I’ll never get rid of it as I’ve learned to compensate.

Rifle Scopes Floating Dot or Floating Cross hair in the center of the reticle?

My eyes are shit. Crosshair because the dot disappears. Literally. I’ve learned to compensate with my reticles with a dot but it’s frustrating.

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

That would be my guess but I haven’t looked close enough for sure. Packed it up to go back and haven’t made it to the PO yet.

American Rifle Company New Archimedes Action, New Xylo Chassis, and major Mausingfield revision

Not so much a click. Actually feels like my Nucleus before I put a couple hundred rounds through it. It’s more of a little extra pressure to overcome.

Older large dog tore ACL- Surgery or not?

I have my own bastardized way and no longer use nylon. It tends to stretch but it’s just a place holder for the body to do its Thing. And yes....I’m probably too cheap.

Older large dog tore ACL- Surgery or not?

I’ve been doing sutures a long time, clear back to the days of Nylon leader from bass pro. They’ve come a long way and some of the newer systems (stay the hell away from securos) are pretty skookum.

Older large dog tore ACL- Surgery or not?

Btw, I generally do them for less than 1k. And if they offer rehab do it.

Older large dog tore ACL- Surgery or not?

In the heavier larger breed dogs, despite what some surgeons will say, this surgeon is a believer in a PROPERLY placed and performed lateral suture. It will give him the stability he needs to prevent continued deterioration of the joint. Braces that actually work are effective. These are...
