    Opening the cutout for the ejection port so far has been an optional thing for me...hasn’t affected function. However, I have had to modify the bolt cutout on every single stock I’ve ever dropped one into with the exception of a Foundation inlet for a TL3.

    I have a spare Timmey 510 and the intended TT Special to try and could swap a Diamond out of something for shits and giggles. I don’t have a waiting period to deal with but do have some other stuff going on that will prevent testing until at least saturday or Sunday.

    It was either an Arch or another LRI mausingfield HTR action.....really wishing I’d gone the 2nd LRI route as the one I bought was/is perfect for my uses. I knew there’d be bumps and some fine tuning but really thought they had learned from the nucleus. I don’t doubt it will get sorted....but damn.

Ive also never experienced any of the light strike issues. If I sit at the couch and get really picky I pick up a little effort on closing but...

    20" shorty 6.5 PRC?

    I bit the bullet on an Impact 6.5 prc with a sendero contour fluted barrel. Dropped it in a Revelation last night and seriously considering breaking out the hacksaw to go to 22” from 26”. It’s destined to be a hunting rig and 22” will be a bit more handy.

    For the cash outlay hard to go wrong with Harris or for a little more cash an Atlas. Someone will say ckye, but I could build another upper with a decent barrel for that kind of money and I’ve never broken a Harris.

    I’m relatively certain you could put 30grains of dogshit in lapua 6br brass and be sub 0.5 moa out of the gate with a quality barrel and decent Smith. Dasher is 32 grains of dogshit and a few tenths less windage. Even in hydroformed HLR lapua. And why we are staying with the 6’s.

    139 gr Lapua Scenars beyond 600 yds

    Splitting hairs. The 139 scenar 6.5x47 factory load (it’s stupid expensive but I needed brass and it was on sale) took me to 1k just fine. My wind calls weren’t much different than my daughters 6br/105 hybrid 2670fps load. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. They are murder on ground hawgz as well.

    Nightforce 4-14 f1 ended up on mine. Same Howa action and the Brownells version of the MDT stock. It’s pretty handy and served me well in some extremely low light. Have the light barreled version in a McMillan Edge and had a pst genii that I swapped out for a HD LH.

    Cmc has always been my go to, but I did have a rise armament I picked up on sale I’ve been impressed with. Shorter reset than the cmc.

    Cock schmock I’ve never felt it on TL3,sr3, or origin. All with TriggerTechs of different flavors.

    One BR on a TL3 and a dasher on an origin. Neither have EVER failed to feed with primal or patriot mag guts.

    New brass neck tension issue

    I have some of the same brass from Graf’s. LC18 stamp just purchased in March or April or whenever they first got it. Been shooting fine in one bolt gun and 3 ar’s. And by fine I mean sub 0.5 moa for 5 shots. I just sorted for weight, ran over a 21st century expander and loaded.
