Rifle Scopes Gen II PST question

Shot a SHV F1 4-14 side by side with my PST Genii 3-15. The pst holds a bit of an edge in the glass department over the shv. For a hunting scope it’s a wash. I’d go with the nightforce for the covered turret.

Limited offer, the LRI/ARC Mausingfield Hunter action.

I’m done with fireforming. And truthfully I’m about done with handloading. And that’s why sanity is setting in and I’m not adding a long action.

    Lightweight hunting rifle

My Barrett is a 6 creed and it’s flinging several different factory loads to a similar point of impact across the weight spectrum and all sub moa. 87 vmax Hornady in the summer for ground hogs, 108 eld Hornady for deer and coyotes. I have a box of Alpha brass sitting here that I’ll likely stoke...

    Lightweight hunting rifle

Barrett for Out of the box consistent accuracy with no fiddle farking around. I own 5 Montana’s and a Mt Ascent. The Mt Ascent was an impulse buy on a Sportsman’s Whorehouse closout last month and the only one out of the box that didn’t have bedding or assembly issues. All the others got...

Barrett. I’ve owned a pile of Kimbers and one Barrett and I’d go fieldcraft every time.

    Youth Precision Rifle

If u load go 6br. No recoil. 30gr of Varget and a 105 of just about any flavor will let them shoot all day long and not leave them frustrated fighting wind. If you don’t load, a set of Wilson hand dies and an arbor press can be picked up at Brownells fairly cheap. Built a TL3 with a HawkHill...

    ORIGIN Orders

I just realized I never really noticed if my sr3 bolt head was crf version or not.....but it feeds slicker than greased owl shit in a okra dish with accurate mags in Hawkins dbm.

    Foundation Stock?

Mine is not bedded, although I’ve thought about a dab in the lug. My daughter was banging 1k yard steel just fine with it 3 weeks ago

    Foundation Stock?

I have an exodus light with a TL3 and it’s slightly north of 4lbs. For shooting prone it beats my PRS1 by a mile. The added mass balances a Razor HD gen2 and a 26” marksman contour perfectly.

    Nucleus/non Nucleus Barloc/savage prefit

The second time I screwed everything together there were enough threads. I think my original problem was tired eyes and hands. I put 250 rounds through the barrel with the original setup and everything functioned just fine. I finally pulled out the proper Nucleus specific Barloc and everything...

    Nucleus/non Nucleus Barloc/savage prefit

Nothing up close and I’ve since put a nucleus Barloc on the action.

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce ATACR™ 4-16x50 F1 and SHV 3-10x42

I must be the only one happy about the shv getting illumination.

Rifle Scopes Kahles k318i reticle cant

Been screwing around mounting this scope for a week now. The reticle has a pretty significant cant, like 5 degrees. I thought my usual squaring technique was suspect so I’ve tried them all....plum bob, feeler gauges, bubble level on turrets and no matter what it’s noticeably canted 5 degrees...

    ORIGIN Orders

My usually reliable FFL has been the fly in the ointment. I’ve asked them to email their ffl every day for a week. I stopped in yesterday and hand wrote the email to send it to and hoping it happened. Emailed Robbie but I think she’s a bit frustrated with me at this point.

Help with new Remington 700 - ejection

It’s talking to u..I’d put a pressure point on the barrel and suspect an ejector spring needs replacement or has a piece of something fouling it.....lubed or not.

Training Courses Wolf Precision's Long Range Shooting School Dates for 2018 - Somerset, PA

Just finished a 6br TL3 for her last night so she’ll have the tool. She’s handed me my arse in the backyard steel 22 wars with her Ruger predator on more than one occasion so I won’t be surprised or upset. As long as she has fun.
