    ballistic ae elevation (for scope)

Have you sent them an email to ask? Not sure the answer but here is what I found (same thing you did I assume): Elevation / Windage Turret Value: Some scopes are not exact; that is, one click does not necessarily equal exactly one MOA or one Mil. If you know the actual click value of your scope...

How much do benchmark barrels speed up

Yes, I used virgin brass. I did not see a high SD but I did run an expander mandrel through the neck before loading them. I noticed that they have a lot of neck tension when new.

That I can’t answer. I shoot for Defiance but not sure what the lead time is for a bolt. I would call them tomorrow and ask.

    Gunsmithing Question on Defiance Bolt

You can get a new bolt. Defiance can build you another bolt but they will ask you to send the action back so they can test the new bolt in the action. I can’t remember how much I paid for my bolt.

Bad Rock Precision Rifles - South Fork Barrel Type(s) and Supplier(s) Still a Mystery

There are some differences to the Tenacity action. Defiance does use the same material on all their actions. However, for the South Fork model, the action is not polished. The bolt is nose coned, controlled round feed, and uses the same firing pin as the Elite action. The South Fork action uses...

Bad Rock Precision Rifles - South Fork Barrel Type(s) and Supplier(s) Still a Mystery

I shoot for Defiance and help them work the booth at Shot Show. They are using barrels from different manufacturers at the moment. Some of them are Rock Creek, Lilja, and Criterion. Every manufacturer has different wait times and Defiance has chosen to not delay sales and deliveries because of...

    6XC brass issues

I believe there are three now but none are SAAMI specs. The first was the standard 22-250 version that was later modified for Norma brass. Then you have CIP which has a .470 web area and .2748 neck. The third one is the 6XC II, which has a .4714 web area and .276 neck. That are other reamers out...

APA little fat bastard vs Area 419 hellfire?

Both brakes are great but I hated removing and then trying to time the APA brake. The Area 419 is easier to do that.

PRS Talk 2019 PRS Series Update

I agree with the RO statement. When I was part of the Sin City Precision team, our teammates could not shoot our own 2-Day matches. In order to make them happen, we had to RO ourselves. I can say that we (PRS shooters) have some people that need to get checked at times. However, that is not...
