    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

Yep, action screws are exactly 140 mm between centers the long way. Front are 19mm apart and rear are 23mm apart width wise

    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

Will pull it from the safe and get back to you. And on the conversion, I didnt know that. I would bet money they are externally identical to facilitate this for military customers who have AW

    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

Exactly, the "footprint" if you want to call it that. From pics it looks similar in arrangement and roughly speaking dimensions. But once they change it to add the quick lock tensioning system they might have altered other aspects. I If I take some rough exterior dimensions like action face to...

    Introducing the AI Obsession Chassis

Wonder if the foot print from the AW changed going to the AT... I've got an AW that sees less use these days but is a fantastically accurate rifle.

    The Fix from Q

JW Winco Exact model# is 5NB36/C I drilled to size with no changing bits at 1100rpm. Once it's making chips smoothly stop frequently to clean out chips.

    The Fix from Q

Different material, I think this is ABS. It drilled wonderfully and was nearly press fit. I dont think I can get it off without putting the handle in a vise

    The Fix from Q

I tried both liquid rit black dye and dylon powder black. The rit actually got some color to take and the dylon didnt at all. I think it could be the plastic is a similar type of acetal to Delrin but not actually delrin. Delrin is a POM E type which can be dyed and there are several others that...

    The Fix from Q

@newguy2k3v2 I found a decent attachment method I wanted to share. I drilled and tapped a hole for a small 4-40 set screw and used these little nylon tipped set screws from mcmastercarr to prevent it marring the handle. The pic of it on the handle is woth a small set screw I made to test it...

    The Fix from Q

I made one of these to make drilling it perfectly center possible. You use the bit you made the large hole with as an alignment tool and then clamp the bottom of the fixture. Then change ti the bit you want to drill with and put the ball in.

    The Fix from Q

Ahh thats probably my problem! My press is set somewhere around 320rpm i believe. I'll speed it up and keep the pressure low and I bet it'll go much easier. As for this one, I found some instructions on using rit dye to blacken it. I'll give it a try and report back. For attachment I was...

    The Fix from Q

I just got my delrin ball tonight and tried to replicate this. It's a good thing I ordered two. First one spun in the vice and then exploded. Second took some careful padding and pressure from vice and still cracked but otherwise works. I could repair the crack inside with superglue (it'll...

    The Fix from Q

Running the same grip on mine. Really like the extra swell for my palm to index off. I'm normally a wrap the thumb kinda guy but the fix works with that grip with my thumb tip resting on the bolt handle. It makes cycling the bolt even quicker. The wide and somewhat flat face makes getting a...

    The Fix from Q

The Q made one sucks. Dropped my rifle using it from the same problems others have had with the sling twisting slightly. Landed right on the S&B... Everything was fine thankfully.

    The Fix from Q

I have. That AI 45moa mount made for the 5-25x56 going on L115 rifles is a time bomb for your erector springs. Compresses them to a point it wears them much quicker. Experience was smooth and they had it back to me pretty quick.
