    True. But it’s luck of the draw, maybe you get one that shoots sub MOA and maybe you get another one that shoots 2 MOA. There’s also more that a premium rifle brings to the table besides the groups it shoots, a lot of things.

    I suppose it’s my mistake to assume that the intention of precision shooting is to get better. Some people like doing mag dumps with their AR. Good for them but they aren’t getting better.

    There’s a big difference between sending rounds down range until you happen to hit the target and precision shooting. IMO, if you can’t get 80% hits under favorable conditions then you’re shooting too far.

    The Hornady ELD ammo used to be significantly better than it is now. I remember SD's of 9-15 a few years ago. The last lot I had, the SD's were in the high 30's.
