    What SA caliber for 16-18” Barrel for hunting?

    My 16.5” 308 pushes 165 game changers at 2700 and only has about 30 rounds through it so it will probably speed up some. Plenty for what you’re looking to do.

    My LGS had a 6.5 in the other day and the barrel was off just like that. How does that pass qc and make it to the customer? Has anyone had their barrel fluted?

    I’m not sure. The shroud Terry posted works for a Remington 700 but it is not compatible with the Evo. The Evo shroud doesn’t thread in like the 700.
