    Thanks. I'm not so much "dwelling on foot pounds" as much as the bullet performance. What I've always heard is that a heavier bullet will hold together better and penetrate/ perform better. That said, if I'm worrying about bullet performance at lower speed, the 130 is a way to get more speed:)

    I'm not sure on wait time now but my wait time was only about 12 weeks (got it maybe 3 months ago). They delivered it about 2 months faster than they had said which is always nice.

    I also have a Game Hunter on a Tikka and low 30mm Seekins rings (on a Area 419 -20 moa rail). The cheek weld is good for hunting situations but if I was going to do long sessions of prone, I would probably throw a mouse pad or two over it to give me another 1/8 to 1/4 of rise to keep my neck...

    So it looks like nearly everyone is recommending bullets in the 130 grain range as opposed to 140. I've always heard that for hunting, a heavier for caliber bullet is going to penetrate better. Are you saying the lighter bullet to get more velocity? Any more first hand experience in actual...
