You can cycle the bolt with the safety on with the factory trigger. Just take the trigger off and file or grind the top of the bolt lock pin off. I'm a big fan of Area 419 rails. Have them on all of my Tikkas now. I really like TPS rings but have Seekins on one of my rifles as they are a smidge lower than the TPS .- SWWI Shooter

Regarding the 20 moa rail: I have 20 moa because that's what all of the cool kids have.... In all seriousness, no, it isn't needed for hunting (my kind of hunting anyway) but my brother has a range set up that we can shoot 1200 yards on steel so it's nice for that, especially with the velocity...- SWWI Shooter

As set up with an empty mag and no bipod, it is 8.8# by my scale. With 140 Berger bullets, I'm getting right at 2600 fps. Could get a bit more but shooting pretty good here. I have a suppressor coming so had it cut to accommodate that without getting the rifle too long to hunt with comfortably.- SWWI Shooter
