With a flat screw driver pry out the magazine catch. Little cut out in the back of the mag. This will make it lock more solid and less rattle. edi

Tikka trigger coming loose -- Use loctite ?

Normally Tikka use 12.9 screws to hold the trigger, these are high quality high tensile strength screws. It is very important that this screw does not get loose in use. I use something like loctite 243 and tighten with roughly 7NM. Push trigger in rearward position before tightening. edi

bit late to the party. We fit Atlasworx T3 LA mag systems. They do need to be bedded in the correct position (Start by bedding the action first), little flat mag spring must be removed and trigger housing pushed in the rear position before tightening. Trigger unit does not need to be milled...

As the General mentioned, PSE Composites or PSE Rifle Stocks are handmade carbon fibre stocks manufactured in Ireland. Available in the US through Conflux Armory https://confluxarmory.com/ The UPR stock is a Sako made stock which looks a bit like a PSE. PSE stands for Peter, Stephan, Edi...

Thanks, this stock is a bit of a test bed since quite a few years, had a 3 month stint with the Irish Rangers, was handed around and tested in Germany and one of my main hunting stocks. Just received a fresh coat of paint. edi

The UPR is made from two sandwich composite shells (left/right) which are glued together. Overall a stiff and light stock however the two halves are not always glued together straight meaning the reoil lug might be somewhat crooked. Some say the design features were copied from PSE E-Tac stock...

Remove the bolt and check position of action screws with a torch into the action and rear easily visible. If these screws are not engaging almost to the top I would be very careful with 65inlb. It is only a wobbly M6 thread. I'd be running max 55inlb. Roughly 6nm. If the front screw is way low...

With a good 20-24 mag scope you'll see bullet holes in paper at 300m maybe even to 400m with say12 mag you won't. I always found higher mag was helpful when testing things. edi

    AI AT in different chassis?

Yes it was/is. I think the stock in the picture weighed about 1000 grams if I remember right. For an AI rifle a carbon fibre stock weighing 2-2.5lb would easily be possible. Ergonomics could possibly be improved. Not sure why they don't go down that road, at least as a lighter version. edi

When I was a kid living in South Africa the country changed from Imperial to metric, all roads signs were changed to km. Late 90's living in Ireland the same thing happened again. Road signs were changed from miles to km. I learned to work with both systems as I went to schools on three...
