    Had a SPAS 12....even made my own recoil buffers for it....sold it for a premium and never looked back. Same deal with my Saiga 12...Sold it at a profit. Now I'm down to an 870 tactical, a 1927 A5 and this jewel.

    I'd suggest that you contact Leupold Mil/Leo sales and marketing and see if they can loan you a scope and rings- they used to do this. At least you can give it a try before you lay out the coin. Their .mil/Leo discount was 50% the last time I ordered Mk 4 Spotter from them.

    Start with an adjustable gas bock- any idea what your barrel diameter is at the gas block shoulder? The JP JPGS-6 systems are easy to adjust on the fly but fugly and bulky. Wilson Combat makes a nice one too but they've been out of stock since forever...

    Some questions: -What kind of rifle is it going on? Bolt or AR/semi-auto -Is 10X as high as you'd like to go? -Is the field of view at 10x ok for your application(s) They are decent scopes with decent glass, but they are fairly dated. Personally I wouldn't pay any more than $500-600 for one...
