We always had a saying, bad shit happens. Doesn't matter what precautions are taken, how many safety devices there are, how many procedures are in place, sooner or later bad shit happens. Want to make sure bad shit happens, just utter one of the following statements: what could possibly go...

Recommend a die set - and a place that has your recommend!

After buying my first set of Redding dies about 40 years back I've stuck with them ever since. Mainly purchased from Sinclair.

It's sad that this video needed to be made

Who the hell doesn't keep enough ammo on hand that they run out? Or enough reloading supplies? I learned that lesson some forty years back and didn't forget it.

Dillon 550C -> do I just order it from Dillon and wait in line?

First off, dealing with Dillon has been a pleasure and their "no BS" warranty is exactly that. Buying direct from Dillon is not a problem, rather nice to deal with them since they know their product. I've been running a 650 for 25 years or so without a hiccup. Bought the basic press and first...

    Which die lock rings?

Ben using Sinclair lock rings about 20 years. I like a clamping lock ring vice a screw run into the die threads. I load both large quantity on a Dillon and match ammo on a single stage. With the single stage dies once the lock ring set on the die that's it since they are only used on one press...

Need A Lot of Help on 22-250 Build

I've got a 22-250, 23" barrel, McMillan Sako Varminter stock with light fill built on an old Browning Hi-Power action which is basically a Sako M-57. I've got a 22-250 AI with a 22" barrel, Brown Precision kevlar stock built on an old Rem Model 7 action. I shoot light bullets out to 400 which...

Rebarreling a US-1917 Remington 30-06 IMP to .338 LaPua Mag

IIRC Art Alpin of A-Squared hogged out 1917s to take huge magnum cartridges like the .577 Tyrannosaur. My opinion is that I would go with modern steel instead of a century old relic.

Zeps all fine and dandy, but lets look at who REALLY started metal, Black Sabbath. This is their last tour in 2017, minus Bill Ward due to the fact he didn't like Ozzie at all. BLACK SABBATH - "War Pigs" from 'The End' (Live Video) - YouTube

#26 Thus the Hawkwind song "Orgone Energy Accumulator" in 1970 or so. Hawkwind was contemporary with Pink Floyd but were much further into cosmic space rock and ever became popular on this side of the pond. The LP cover art was pretty 60s psychedelic, made a great poster.

Buddy of mine had an old BSA back in '69 or so, 6 volt positive ground system, if you turned the headlight on the Lucas (otherwise known as the Prince of Darkness) electrics were so weak it would kill the ignition. Good looking bike except when pushing it down the road dead.

When I was a kid something around 50 years ago we used to put #8 sheet metal screws in the knobs to go run dirt bikes on frozen lakes. Had to check to make sure no to use screws that were to long though, patching a tube sucks when it's frozen.

Old Vincents had a kick sand on each side of the bike, the rear tire could be removed without tools, the front fork was reversible to provide proper geometry for attaching a sidecar, and the tools were in a slide out drawer.

Very High Velocity (+5000 FPS in 308)

Smoothbore small caliber weapons went out with the Brown Bess as the Brits learned in the Revolutionary War and there is nothing on the horizon to make smooth bores come back as a practical weapon. Many moons back, P.O. Ackley experimented with is .22 earshpittenloudenboomer, otherwise known as...
