NewCon LRM3500M (35BT) LRF First Impressions

I was waiting for a report on these. I really like the GPS factor. You can go right to the spot you shot your coyote. If the beam divergence is accurate it should range small critters like coyotes a long piece away. This is exactly what I am looking for... I will wait for some more reports but...

    Leica 2400 R

I am talking about 3-4 K leica, zeiss, swarovski...i know they are binos but still this is 10-15 years later. Like come on, they should be able to equal 10-15 year old vectronix.

    Leica 2400 R

What amazes me is 10-15 year old Vectronix technology far far surpasses current leica, Zeiss , Swarovski etc etc etc..I mean they aren't even close to Vectronix's old discontinued stuff....

    Leica HD-B 3000

Is it true the aiming reticle is larger in the hd-b 3000 binoculars than the LEICA MONOCULAR RANGFINDER cfr 2700B ? Or are they the same size?

    Leica HD-B 3000

The CFR 2700B doesn't have a square reticle it has a circle reticle .

    Leica HD-B 3000

Is the reticle really larger in the leica hd-b 3000 compared to the cfr 2700b ? Or does it appear larger because of the power difference?

    Leica 2400 R

I got a chance to try my leica 2700b more. Even though I had a new battery I replaced it with another one and it seems to be working quite a bit better now. I have had ranges in bright sunlight to just shy of 2300 yards of a round hay bail.

    Leica 2400 R

I had a hard time getting the 2700b to work beyond 1850 yards no matter how big the target and how good the conditions.

    Leica 2400 R

I’m not overly thrilled with the 2700b. It really struggles to get 2000 yards in good conditions off a tripod aimed at a barn.Maybe I got a dud. This is the first Leica i’v Had which won’t do what they claim.

    Leica HD-B 3000

I had the original Leica Hd-b and I have swarovski. They give a different view because of the coatings. Both are alpha all the way. You aren't missing anything with the Leica Hd-b in my opinion.

    Leica HD-B ballistic function

The big difference is 3000 yards of ranging and a beam divergence only HALF the size. So it should be much easier to range critters at long range, I had the original 8x42 HD-B and it would only range a yote to about 600 yards. With the new crf 2700B guys are ranging yotes over 1000 yards. That...

Norma makes really good brass. Lapua makes better brass.

    Leica Rangemaster CRF 2700-B

    7 saum

I find standard primers more accurate in this cartridge BUT I do use mag primers in hunting season and readjust the load a bit( because of the cold weather).

    7 saum

Try RL26 ...My 180s are coming out at 3030 ..My 162's are coming out at 3170 but it is not a hot load but super accurate. At 1500 yards I have a few 5 shot group which my hand would cover..I just wish Lapua would make brass for the 7mm SAUM . It is just so inherently accurate. If everyone who...

    7 saum

I have been shooting a 7mm saum for years. I currently have 7 barrels chambered and ready to go for my 2 full custom 7mm saums. I have also shot out several . I change my own barrels etc. I say this to prove how familiar I am with this cartridge . Speeds of 162 grain bullet at over 3300 is...

Speed increased, powder charge is the same.

About every 300-400 rounds give it a good cleaning with jb paste. That is how you get rid of the carbon ring.
