    Think it's on par with the S&B PMII glas, The Beast also got slightly better turrets and a more forgiving parallax adjustment, but isn't worth almost twice the price, the differences are to small.

    Well some scopes have extreme CA, can mask bullet holes in paper and make it extremely difficult to mil targets. Not fun losing points because your optics isn't up to the task. But if you can live with shity optics, go ahead.

    Nightforce Beast has easy to read dial. Also 20mil per turn so pretty damn hard to get lost in a PRS match.

    Would go with a March 2.5-25x52(sfp). Light weight and they got nice reticles for hunting. Also super reliable mechanics. Not lockable turrets, but won't budge unless you want em too.

    Probably one of the best reticles ive seen in quite a while, tobad their scopes cost so damn much. Hard to see the value over a zp5 with mr4 or any of the other high end scopes that has a good reticle.

    Haven't compared them side to side yet, but so far i like the reticle a lot better in the kahles, the MSR2 is just awesome. as it sits right now i like the kahles better. Probably throw the beast on my next build(trainer), or my ELR rifle once it's done. Going to send it in and get the reticle...

    Have tested mine now and compared it side by side with a k624i gen 3. The k525i is more compact, the optics is a bit brighter, more distinct clicks on the vertical turret, it has MSR2 which is awesome compared to the MSR. The fov is a lot less, the k624i at 20x feels like the k525i at 16x...

    They make them in batches depending on the configurations, LW CCW SKMR3 one day, the next maybe LW CCW MSR2 and so on. so can take awhile depending on the configuration one orders.

    Thanks for the answers. Well guess the 7mm practical will do for the moment. Going full custom would cost me around 4500$ before i could shoot it(action, barrel, work, reloading dies, brass, bullets). wouldn't have been a problem if i wasn't building another custom rifle this fall...

    Yeah but should be possible for the smith to enlarge it a bit, 300nm = 0.585 in and 300WSM = .555 in. not much material that has to go.

    Well not if you live in Europe, it's a pain in the ass importing from the US. The brands i got to chose from are Barnards, KS arms and Ultimatum. Unless i want to pay extra for some export/import license and other crap or pay a big chunk to a importer over here...

    Been thinking on getting one for a 6.5cm + a bolt head for a .204 ruger(.223). Long range practise at spring and summer with the 6.5 and the .204 for varminting. Not that many that offers changeable boltheads.
