    Often thought about something in between their nx8 1-8 and 2.5-20 which might be a 2-16 (8x erector) Maybe a 2-16x42 but would be pretty close to the 2.5-20x50. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Edit: on second thought going with the 8x erector a 1.5-10ish power range to compete with the vortex.

    Ok let me rephrase that... cut the bolt stop pin flush with the radius of the action, not the flat spot on the action. Edit: I see what you are saying about the pin being cut short and not much to grab on to due to the pin being close to the edge of the action.

    Hi, I would dremel the bolt stop pin flush with the action before I dremeled the chassis. The chassis costs hundreds vs the bolt stop pin costing maybe a few bucks. If you do find out that the pin wasn’t in or it was too long you wont have a hole in your chassis for your new/ installed...

    Atlas Cal vs S Cal vs Elite Iron bipod

    I haven’t shot that many matches and I’ve found that I need more than one bipod. I run a cal most of the time but I like my tall psr for narrow props and shooting up hill. Different tools for different situations. I agree that the Cal would be best for prs/nrl out of the bipods you listed.

    Bergara/CZ/KIDD rimfire

    I have experience with my tikka T1x, a buddy’s cz455 and Kidd. I would go Tikka or Kidd depending on what action you want. The Kidd shoots so well it is like cheating compared to my tikka given you don’t have to take your hand off the trigger to run the bolt.

    I have a SWFA 10x on my 22lr comp rig (amongst a couple high end optics) and I don’t feel like it holds me back yet. I like the fine reticle for engaging small targets and I think the 10x is a good all around magnification. Best bang for your buck imho.
