    Crowning a barrel takes a 15 seconds if you've already indicated everything and have just threaded the muzzle. It makes no sense why that wouldn't have been done. When I first started crowning I ran a 45 degree pilot reamer in the muzzle to chamfer. I quit doing that since it was just another...

    I'd shoot it. No need to wait until it's made to look right. It may shoot fantastic as-is.

    Mine has 24217 printed on the bottle. I have two unopened bottles and one has the same number and the other has none. I see nothing to indicate a date.

    Exact same result as your barrel. My duplicate experiment is ongoing and still no change to the pin after 20 mins. Your bottle is somehow different. It would be interesting to duplicate yours again with a new bottle of accelerator.

    Here’s 6 minutes, same experiment. Cleaned the pin and beaker with denatured alcohol first and let it dry. I wonder if your accelerator is a diffeeent product. Mine was bought off brownells about a year ago.

    I’ve done that once or twice to remove a stubborn carbon ring. It worked just ok so I don’t do that any more.

    Recommendations DLC OR Meloniting

    I've used these guys. At one point, if not still, Defiance was using them. Kelbly's does to. One action is expensive. Every other piece you add to be done is cheaper. I got five guys together to send in actions and it was much cheaper per action.
