    You won't touch what you really want for that much money. Now not saying that is a bad rifle, but you will be left wanting. I'd say buy an origin, keystone accuracy barrel and a bravo. Similar cost without a rigger and when you finally decide to go up in rifle you should get more money out of it...

    What I am saying is that even if you shoot 3k rounds of 6.5 creed, when you move to the larger rifle you will still have to keep shooting a decent volume to keep those fundamentals up. What is you budget for the base rifle?

    At 2200 yards you don't really need to move to the 375/416. A 300 Norma or 7-300 PRC will do just fine with that kind of range and doesn't require the huge bolt face and round cost.

    @joelinux I have a little different perspective, if you want to shoot a cal like 375/416 you are going to need to have 2 rifles. You won't be able to keep the 375/416 in ammo or barrels for any amount of shooting to keep up with the fundamentals to shoot at ELR distances. You will save money...

    Well from reading the origin thread most of the work that needs done is just timing the trigger. I believe it is something that big horn or any good smith will do for a nominal fee. That way it is perfect to be assembled.
