    If you have a super strong handguard, i.e. a DD RISII, KAC, Geiselle, Hodge, etc. rail mounting is not a problem. You can mount it directly off the scope tube or directly on various mounts as well. Most people seem to mount them near the front of the scope though that is not rule of law.

    Pretty much. I used a N4 stripped lower with DD parts kit and an a2 grip with the finger groove ground off, but that looks like a quality kit.
