Rebarrel: Short and Handy, 16" or 18"?

I went with a 17” 6.5CM. Shoot it suppressed 100% of the time. Very satisfied.

    I think i got duped.

I use Ned’s chamber gage on all my .223/5.56 barrels to check just to be sure. Have seen more than one AR barrel marked and advertised 5.56 but were indeed only .223 dimension.

    Suppressors Re-threading a QD brake from 1/2x28 to M14x1RH

I had a similar debacle with an 11/16x24 muzzle and a 5/8x24 brake. I couldn’t find anyone to do it. I ended up using a Hughes thread adapter.

Can someone help me determine why my new build is giving me large groups?

In that Larue mount, make sure you are torquing the bottom bolts first, then the top. And don’t overdo the torque value. I think Faxon pencil barrel, plus XM193 ammo is your biggest issue. Just curious, why the pistol brace with a 16” rifle barrel?

    AR 10 308 build question

Plastic/nylon lower on an AR10? No bueno. No way. As mentioned above, you’ll be way better off getting an Aero M5 kit setup. This one from CDNN isn’t bad also...

    Tikka T3 Thread

Lots of posts in here with success stories on this. Here’s what I did. Used Brownells Universal action wrench. It will fit over the action externally. Try it different ways until it fits. Tighten down. Have barrel very tight in vise, use something around the OD of the barrel that goes in...

Suppressors Form 1 efile drop down models

If you put your own model in, it will prompt it to go into “Research” after submitting. Typically adds a week to your approval process time. It’s much more efficient to just pick one from the list already and just learn to like that name and engrave it on your can.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Range Toy 1911. $1500 price tag. Suggestions?

Good luck, and be careful man.... The only good things I’ve ever read about Fusion (and with lots of pretty pictures) was the 1911Forum sub forum for Fusion, where Fusion was a sponsor and all negatives were knowlingly censored. Places like GlockTalk 1911 sub forum, and 1911Addicts forum are...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Range Toy 1911. $1500 price tag. Suggestions?

I think the DW Vigil suppressor ready pistols can be had for ~$1200. I almost went that route, but instead just bought a threaded barrel direct from DW and fit it into my Specialist model to run with a can.

    Large FRame AR barrel options.

I’ve got a Faxon match fluted 18” on a 6.5CM and a Criterion hybrid M118LR .308 20” in another rifle. Both shoot extremely well. Use SLR adjustable gas blocks, a JP SCS, and Toolcraft BCG.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Range Toy 1911. $1500 price tag. Suggestions?

I’ve owned a couple of Nighthawk Custom 1911 pistols. They were very nice. But, in the end, I could not find the extra $k’s of value in them over Dan Wesson’s I also owned. So the Nighthawks got sold.

Suppressors First Can(s)? For AR15, AR10, and multi-cal precision rifle.

Dead Air Sandman-S is a good low-back pressure option to consider also. Also easy to move from rifle to rifle with the KeyMo muzzle devices. TBAC cans are great, when I was in the market I was planning for big use on semi autos and the gassy/back pressure was a deterrent to me at the time.
