    AB Mobile.

I went with the Gen 2 XR. I just downloaded AB yesterday and while I expect accurate numbers out of it I was quite disappointed at the reticle selection. I mean come on, the EBR-2C is only one of the most popular choices out there. My free version of Strelok had a better reticle selection.

Suppressors Alternate to TBAC for precision rifle shooting?

I use my SiCo Omega with the direct thread attachment. Very repeatable. Every time I check zero with my 6.5 CM it is spot on and when I screwed it on for a match two weeks ago I had no trouble engaging targets out to 1000, 1100 yards. Works equally well on my 6mm CM. Both rifles have about a...

Tripod adapter for Leica CRF series rangefinders

It's been a while since this was discussed so I'm wondering if anyone has found a tripod mount that they really like for the Leica? I'm on the fence with the $98 version from Leica. Just rubs me the wrong way that I should have to pay an extra $100 when they could/should have a 1/4" threaded...

    Ballistic solution in the LRF

Hi all, I'm looking for use cases for when you find it advantageous to have the ballistic solution calculated in the LRF. Trying to decide if this is a feature I should have in my next purchase. In the past I have had 3 devices, the LRF for ranging only, a basic Kestrel for wind velocity and...

Suppressors One Suppressor to Rule them ALL - Not really, but one to start with

I've had my Omega for about 6 months now. It gets used on two precision bolt rifles and for that use it does very well. I'm very pleased with the noise reduction as well as moderating the recoil impulse to where I'm better able to spot my hits and misses with a 6.5 Creedmoor. POI shift was...

OTTO NoizeBarrier earpro same as new Etymotic Elites....

A quick range report: Brief version - the Otto's work great. Best hearing protection option I've ever used. Slightly longer version - I tried to find an Ebay coupon but was unsuccessful, so rather than wait and hope one came along I just paid full price for them. I'm glad I didn't wait. The...

    Looking for a Chronograph

The only time I've had to adjust sensitivity on my MS is when I was using if for a 52gr Berger @2825fps in my 22-250. It was fine with the same bullet at lower velocity from my .223 bolt gun. Otherwise it hasn't missed a shot.

    Looking for a Chronograph

Pretty generic question. What's your use case(s)? I have an Oehler 35 and a Magnetospeed. Both work well for different firearms. Ie, the MS doesn't work for most handguns or a double barreled rifle. Yep, have one of those. And since I have the MS Sporter version it won't work with my...

PRS Talk Should I just accept that I'll lose most of my brass at a match

I appreciate all the responses. Reading thru what others have posted I have realistic expectations heading into the 2019 season. It's easy to accept the loss of a few pieces, just part of the territory. Likewise it's the shooter's choice as to whether to shoot a match if he knows going in...

    6-Creedmoor, bushing size.

I reload 6mm CM and with a tubing mic my Lapua brass neck thickness measured 0.0135" and my Hornady brass neck thickness measured 0.014". For 0.002" neck tension I bought both 0.268" and 0.269" bushings. But I also use a Sinclair mandrel after sizing to get consistent neck tension. I have...

looking for 2019 matches in Georgia

Probably the closest match to Atlanta are going to be the Wheaton Arms matches at Clinton House in Clinton, SC. I'm on the north side of the Atlanta metro area and it's about 2 1/2 hours up there. I've been to Blakely to shoot on their UKD open range days and that's about 3 1/2 hours for me...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite Tactical ERS

That's a great price and they're still available. I got mine a year ago and even with the rebate that Bushnell was running at the time I paid more than that. And for the price I feel it's a good value in scopes. Mine now sits on my 6mm Creedmoor. This past July I used it on an unknown...

    Starline SRP Creedmoor brass

I'm using both Lapua and Starline SRP for my 6.5 CM. My findings are that the Lapua case weight is a little more consistent than the Starline but not by too much. I'm starting my 3rd loading of each so can't really comment on the longevity of either just yet. Both measure pretty consistent on...

PRS Talk PRS Series Sold/Given Away

I swear I heard the rumor as early as around the time of SHOT earlier this year. Maybe I was dreaming. Anyway I hope its a change for the better. Trying to find match info on their website leaves a bit to be desired, esp the club matches which I'm more interested in.

    Suppressors Shorter cans for rifle

Where did you have to apply the rocksett to keep the sleeve from loosening? I just got my Omega and will keep an eye on it, but the sleeve coming loose seems to be common enough that I'd like to know how to deal with it. Thanks.
