    308 Short(er) Range Scope?

A top end 1-8x SFP LPVO with a capped windage turret? You want a Kahles K18i-2.

Rifle Scopes What scopes have all these features?

You can probably get a used Kahles K525i SKMR4 around 2500.

    Optic question

Travel is listed as up 19, down 13.5. If there's something blocking 5.5 mils of elevation that makes total erector travel space 38 mils in a 34mm tube. Sounds like it would be light because it has a lot of air instead of glass in it. (Small diameter erector)

Do you know of a REALLY low, cantilever mount? (30mm, 0-MOA)

that's gonna be tough to find, cantilevers are generally made to be 1.5" scope height from rail because that's the minimum height you need to actually see through the scope.

    Kahles 312i advice needed

they're pretty heavy at 2 lbs. 29 mils of elevation. Think about it like a K318i that only goes to 12 but that's as long as a K525i. If you can look through it, see if you like it? Top parallax and left side windage is cool.

Any Feedback on Swarovski DS2 5-25?

It has 2 real operating limitations: 1. Distance: It gives ballistic corrections out to around 1100 yds, so that is the furthest you can possibly shoot with it. It also doesn't give Coriolis corrections, so you have to just hold high or low depending on which direction you're facing for longer...

    Rifle Scopes Swarovski Z5i+ information

I thought the 3.5-18x50 I looked through was Z6-y. it's a narrower field of view than the Z8i, but it also costs half as much.

No reason to do that. Pick the mag range/ size that makes sense for your application unless you're ridiculously sensitive to CA

Rifle Scopes What’s the plus of having a bigger tube?

Bigger tubes can improve brightness and resolution, if you use the additional internal space for larger diameter lensing. It's just that generally what you find in larger diameter tubes is thicker tube wall and more void.

KAHLES K624i - EYEBOX COMPARED TO PRESENT SCOPES

Kahles was selling the Gen IIIs at $2500 before they discontinued them. Are they good scopes? Sure. Are they obsolete? I don't think so. They track well, and are pretty clean optically between 12-15x. Should you replace them? Depends on what matters to you. You can get a better image with a...

A Small Rant about AR mounts ahead of April Fools Day

Something like that could work, would need 7 or 8 rail slots forward of the forward bolt though. EDIT: that 2nd one is money! Thank you!
