Pretty sure the Toy hybrid problem is related to piss poor machining. Mitsubishi had a similar problem in the mid-90's; the 1st gen eclipse/talon had the infamous 4g63, but for some reason engineering decided to try and free up some rotational resistance to gain free HP. As a result, the crank...

    Pin and weld suppressor?

I almost hoped you would chime in on the dwell time topic. 👍🏻

    Pin and weld suppressor?

I dont think this line of thinking is correct. Entirely. I think an argument could be made for some of it, but its a stretch. In comparison to dwell time; you could have a carbine gas, 18", and i don't believe that wouldn't increase the backpressure as much as the can does. I'm not a...

    Pin and weld suppressor?

I am. On the build I listed in this thread, it runs a H3 with what would be an "extra heavy" action spring. The baffles are double clipped, and it's actually quite comfortable to shoot. 3:00 ejection, sometimes a little forward. A2 FSP, no moving parts.

Cool. Let us know when you're outta training wheels. We'll be busy going fast.

    Pin and weld suppressor?

Increase action spring rate? H1/H2 buffer? I've come to realize that the AGB is not the be-all answer that some believe it to be. Now I'll admit, a heavier buffer is not necessarily the correct answer either, as it's intended use is preventing carrier bounce. But it is possible to change a...

    Pin and weld suppressor?

Yes, it is. It's a 1.375 reflex mount from https://quelltech.shop/ They make 2 different lengths in 17-4 SS. This particular one is the 2.25". I made a custom timing shim for the muzzle threads so the adapter would back up against the FSP perfectly. Then I drilled for the muzzle pin. The...

    Pin and weld suppressor?

I've got one. Don't know what all the fuss is about. Works great. Doesn't mean that my way is the highway. Fuck a can; if you don't have enough to use on more than 1 rifle at once, you just don't have enough.

Picked up a decent deal @ Home Depot the other day...

Milwaukee has the plumbing/electrical market cornered. Undoubtedly. My brother is a master electrician, and a Milwaukee snob. Plumber buddies are the same way. Fucking tools are HEAVY though

The names in the middle are the owners; all surrounding are subsidies of the conglomerates. Never wondered why Rigid and Milwaukee batteries are almost identical? File the index tabs off a Porter Cable battery, and watch what it fits now. I agree, no one make their own shit. My guy at work...

As a guy who has used almost every cordless tool brand out there; I'm glad there are options available to folks. I have personally worn out complete sets (including common replacements) from Bosch and DeWalt, and am currently a Makita snob for standard cordless kit, and Metabo HPT for my...

Suppressors Wax or similar material baffle in endcap that can be shot through?

Wipes are definitely a Grey area. You MOST CERTAINLY CAN NOT add one to a can that never had one. Period. If your can had one already, it can be repaired. Again, very Grey, and you most certainly don't want any extra rubber parts for it laying around after. There might actually be something...

Have i changed a single mind? Pi**a G@te IS real!

There are small sects and/or individuals, within the federal prison system, who take pride in making sure that justice is served to those who hurt children. We would do well to round them all up, and cut a few of those fellas loose on them. Proper justice served: if you take away someone's right...

    Griffen taper mount alternative

+1 for the taper mount kings! GA taper mounts are legit. I have many brakes and flash hiders in different sizes and shapes, as well as a couple different mount styles for my cans. Solid lock up, good RTZ, and even without the can, they work as advertised.

Suppressors Diving into HUB. Direct threads or buy 6 QD mounts?

For their suppressor adapter? How's that work if the tube is standard "HUB" threading? I'm admittedly under-researched on the 419 system. I know of a 22lr system that uses left threading on the proximal end of the can, and (because 22lr is often DT) it helps considerably under the...

Suppressors Diving into HUB. Direct threads or buy 6 QD mounts?

I Rocksett all my proximal adapters in. Wouldn't want one backing out on my brakes. I use Rocksett because it withstand higher heat than Red Loctite; the blast chamber/mount area can likely get hotter than Loctite can withstand. I also use Griffin taper mounts. 100% legit they are.
