    Awesome thanks. Now I don't whether to load them in my 308 Win or consider trying them in my 260AI. Seems like a 260 AI would be doable since there is less body taper. I could create a false shoulder too and the 30 degree shoulder might make case forming easier.

    I shoot the G23 and the Hellcat just fine. I competed/ trained with the G23 for decades so I handle it just fine. The Hellcat isn't snappy for me and shoot it about as good as the G23. Flush mags while in the holster or pocket. Higher caps in the mag pouches.

    I had both and sold both. They are both fine pistols, just heavy for EDC. I had a Cylinder and Slide trigger installed on the High Power. It was probably one of the fastest pistols I could shoot with.

    I'd probably be looking at a 208gr ELDM or 215 Berger Hybrid. If you can get them to shoot. But unless you can practice alot in western canyon conditions I'd stalk close.

    I've shot the 168gr SMK over 1k yards. About 1200 yards seems to be where mine destabilize ymmv. As for hunting I haven't used them but know people that have. They just clear the tips and keep impacts around 1900 fps or greater.

    It might help the OP and others for the owners of the 6.5 CM 16.5" barrel to post their loads or ballistics of their rifle. As for 308 Win 16.5" barrel owners post would help too. But you could also glean from Hodgdon's pistol 308 win loads. They you something like a 15" barrel for their data.
