Just .243 handloads, I know, boring.

Don't start over with another powder. You have almost found what the rifle is capable of. Sometimes, no matter what we do, there's no magic potion that is going to make a 1 MOA rifle a 1/2 MOA rifle. Keep your 42.3 gr charge. The next thing you do is test bullet jump increments. Go to 200...

What other charges did you try? At what distance?

Just .243 handloads, I know, boring.

Exactly this. I have performed load development for hundreds of rifles. Of course, there are component combinations that are repeats. But each rifle must be treated as an individual. Learn the relationship to the lands, sent your bullet accordingly, then begin testing charges. I have data on...

Group size goes small to large and back to small

Vertical is bad. During load development, vertical dispersion means the load is out of tune with the barrel. But, in your case, it's a good load at 100 and 1000 yards. Is there a terrain and/or foliage major difference at 400 yards versus 100 and 1000 yards?

I too would like to see those groups. Is the spread vertical, horizontal, or both?

What throating reamers should I buy?

This year I have purchased lathe, tooling, and reamers from Manson. I had the reamers ground 0 free bore, because I want to control the amount of free bore. I know it is another step, and that is fine. Right now, I need 7mm and 30 cal. Eventually I will need all calibers from .224" to .338"...

Yes And I have said twice I am showing my LTC. Even if I am not tied to the plates. LTC holders do ride and drive in other vehicles, not registered to them.

Must have been a new officer. Old Cops in Texas DGAF. Many have told me there's not enough of them and they need good people armed. I was friends with the Chief and a Lieutenant on Melissa PD. I had the Lt. print me for my first suppressor Form 4. He was going on about how cool that's going...

Read it again. "When a magistrate or peace officer demands". If they don't, they don't. That changed when Texas went to Constitutional carry. But I will keep my LTC, and I will pass it over to Law Enforcement every time.

Texas law says we don't have to show our LTC, but I still do anyway. The officer instantly knows you're not a felon. Every time "Do you have your firearm with you?" He can see both my hands and I point straight down at my waist and say "It is in a holster right there." Almost every time, the...

I-10, between San Antonio and Ft.Stockton, I am a right lane guy. 85 mph speed limit. That kills my fuel mileage, so 75 mph in the right lane is just fine.

I had an idea years ago. Some of us need this authority. Left lane campers get full auto paintball fire. Paint issued by the state. And when a Law Enforcement officer sees a right sided painted up car, they pull them over and give them a ticket for being a dumbass.
