How's 'bout this for a loadout?

That is some serious old school ingenuity. Flat out crazy. Love it.

    3-D printing a rifle action?

It is a possibility to print most parts now. The reason no one is doing it is the cost. 3D printing is slow, and the materials are often an order of magnitude more expensive. Fine for suppressors which are relatively complex, expensive, and use minimal materials compared to say a Remington 700...

    Help with watch and backpack.

I don’t know anything about watches, but for backpacks Mystery Ranch is the way to go. They cost a bit, but if you can stretch your budget they are with it. I scraped together pennies for a Mystery Ranch dragon slayer almost a decade ago. It’s about the max size for an airline carryon. Used it...

Advanced Marksmanship Does a longuer barrel help for 1 mile shot ?

Not sure if you are serious, or maybe I’m missing something. All else held equal, longer barrels = more velocity. More velocity = more energy delivered More velocity = less drop, and lest in wind. Shorter flight times are more forgiving increasing chances of first round hits. You may be over...

The Marine Corps wants yet another new sniper rifle

Four million sounds like a lot when compared to a personal bank account, but for a military branch it is budget dust, a rounding error. Heck, 4 million isn’t enough to get a full R&D team engaged for a new product. Hope it encourages some innovation and supports a good manufacturing company...

    VPN services?

Not a mod, but maybe some helpful info: When using a VPN, the visitors address looks like it is coming from the server the VPN is connected to. Some sites (Netflix et al) compare the visitors IP address against a known list of servers running VPN services. This list will not include self-build...

    VPN services?

Check out ProtonVPN, they have a paid and free level. Or you can build your own VPN using AWS cloud services for greater control if you want to go deep down the rabbit hole. Your ISPs don’t need to track your activities, get a VPN.

    AR10 Build

Basically! The rumored speeds put it on par with a laser. I don’t have one, but I want one (hence my projecting a bit), and when funds permit will build one.

Sidearms & Scatterguns 9mm Subsonic Ammo

I’ve shot thousands of LAX Ammo, sub and super 9mm, no problems. All depends on your needs, LAX is basic budget range Ammo, won’t compare to Prime quality.

    Still supprting the NFL?

The NFL can fade into oblivion. They missed the mark, and will continue to alienate their customer base.

trouble with AR-15 firing pin retaining cotter pin

Lots of the online stores have them, and I tend to add small parts like this when making bigger orders. I have used the KNS pin and really like it, especially when breaking down the bolt carrier for cleaning. So much easier. Probably 2k suppresses rounds and no issues.

    Questions about Pre-Fits and Interest

I personally am more interested in the pre-fit barrels, assuming proper tolerances are held. I don’t care if it has or has not been test fired. Unless I know the smith and have a great working relationship then the process of grouping and providing load details doesn’t add any value to me as...

    Delayed blowback advantages

Samb300, any info on the delay mechanism MDP9? Rollers or something closer to what CMMG used? The concept seems sweet, especially because no buffer tube is needed and it can still use standard 9mm lowers.
