    Carry extra batteries. Quality 2032s are not expensive, and we're talking about $2000 optics on what I assume are similarly not-cheap rifles. I just can't see how this "problem" is so make-or-break.

    Yeah, I've had one in my hands from a trade, and it was just a bog standard one-piece mount. Not a bad mount by any stretch, it had good machining and finish, but I don't know why I'd buy it over a Warne or whatever.

    Someone on ARFCOM posted up about the FFP version. Sounded like they were on the better end of Chinese scopes (good glass, not daylight bright illumination), but still a little marginal for $500. Probably pretty good if you got them for $330 on mil discount.

    I'd be slightly surprised if they had any left; they've been on close-out pricing for quite a while at a few different places. (I think Cameraland had them for $699 at one point?) That said, the SMRS is still available for $680, if you can tolerate a mil-reticle instead of BDC.
