    ELR match in Montana

    I was over at Broz's site over the weekend and saw the match results. I was suprised that a $450 rifle beat all the $4500 rifles. I knew there had to be one hell of a shooter behind the rifle. MTWelder, thanks for contribution to the post and congrats on your win.

    Got ya. I'll be using mine pretty much just for hunting so I hoping the ballistic function will be pretty easy to set up and prove to be accurate Of course there seems to always be wind so probably still going to need the kestrel.

    I'll sure give those guys a call. Thanks for reminding me of them. I really got interested when I was told the beam will be even better with the 3000's. Do you use the ballistics function with your 2700's? Guys I hunt with don't use it. They use their Kestrels.

    Of the two options mentioned, SHV. I own the 4-14x50F1 on a AR platform and it has served me well. Very nice glass and decent turret feel for the money.

    My suggestion similar HoustonB77's. Seekins are a nice choice as would a JP CTR-02 in 224V or a LPR-07 is looking for something in 6 or 6.5CM.
