    They are 99% made in the USA. Everything except the EBR7B reticle, which is made in Germany. I called Vortex to confirm. All the pieces, even the small fasteners are machined in house.

    Get the Tikka. Slower is not a rumor. My Tikka is slower than another rifle I have with the same length barrel. That being said, it's just as accurate as the custom barrel. We can correct for elevation. The change in velocity doesn't rightly matter between the two barrels.

    Quality rings and quality mounts will give you the exact same performance. If you plan on using the optic on multiple rifles, the mounts seem to be a little easier to remove and place on another rifle. That being said, choose whichever one you think looks better. The results will be the same.

    Depends. Most high end scopes like S&B, NF, etc are very useable on the higher end of the mag range. If its 95 degrees and 90% humidity, it won't be very useable. Mirage will render it useless in those conditions.

    Bullet technology has come a long way. There are some bullets out there that are easy to tune. In my experience, the Berger Hybrids and Hornady ELD in just about any weight will shoot. I'm not a fan of the Nosler offerings.
