    Hunting & Fishing Reducing Coyotes

A farmer whose land I use seems to have an issue with coyotes getting to his young cattle. I'm not one hundred percent sure which comes first, death or coyote, but the amount of young carcasses seems out of the norm to me. What is the best way to reduce the population of coyotes via a...

Fieldcraft What water purification tablets ?

I keep some https://www.potableaqua.com/ tabs in my gear as a back up. I've needed them once, when I dropped a clean bottle (I was filtering water into it) in to the stream. So I grabbed it, filled it up fully with "dirty" water, and then dropped a tab in to make it clean. They are nice to have...

    gps watch

Its not much of a "watch", but has a clock function. I really like my Garmin Foretrex 401, and you can find them used for easily around 100.

Fieldcraft Here is my field gear. Looking for Opinions.

@Strykervet, MILES works excellent when it is put into work by people who give a shit about it working. I work with an organization that uses MILES, and each SAT is zeroed with the weapon it is on, batteries are maintained, god guns kept in working order, etc. The reason it works is because...

    Mammoth Sniper Challenge 2020 Discussion

I am interested as well from someone who has been to last year's event. I read on ITS Tactical about the "old" Mammoth, before it moved venues and changed ownership, I'm interested in solid reviews of the 2019 version.

Photos The Division 2 dev's might be shooters.

Don't get your hopes up because a gun looks cool. Its a fun game, but you have to take it for what it is, a third person RPG with shooting. When you have to shoot some crappy MAC10 look alike because it has better stats than the AR type rifle you start with, you must suspend your logic and just...

Thinking I need a Battle Belt

Personally, I keep a lot of my medical stuff except the "I NEED THIS RTFN" gear in my bag. On my belt for space I carry a TQ, combat guaze, and ETB... there may be a folded up chest seal as well, but it all fits into a 2x M4 Magazine pouch from the USGI rifleman kit. Will it handle all? No, but...

That's a great price on a great gun, if you have man size hands. I may just have to get one.

Eberlestock g2 gunslinger vs g4 operator?

I find them to be far quieter than US Army MOLLE offerings. My MOLLE ruck will squeak no matter what the load is. I have no similar issues with the Eberlestock. My rifle is very stable, even when moving at a jog.

Eberlestock g2 gunslinger vs g4 operator?

Ive owned both. The Operator is a bigger bag, but is subdivided in a way that makes it hard to actually carry bigger items, such as a sleep system, at least when it comes to the MSS. Lighter more expensive options that pack down tighter may have better luck. The Operator also really needs the...

Glow in the Dark DOPE Cards

One of the things I picked up from a member here but on a different forum is these little UV lights. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NOFMJKW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are small and will put some good charge on a glow paint/tape, without a lot of visible...

Rifle Scopes How important is a zero stop?

I was shooting a buddy's rifle, he gave me the DOPE in clicks to dial, it was something around 140 clicks. At some point I forgot what number I was on. Giving it my best guess, I fired, no impact, no idea. He asked if I had dialed correctly. Me: "So, say I sort of forgot where I was when I was...
