Rifle Scopes Reticles for Meopta Optika 6 scopes.

Heavy65, You are in luck, The new Optika6 will be rated for Spring-piston air rifles. I just mounted up two Meopta scopes, MeoPro and MeoStar and I am thoroughly impressed with the clarity, brightness, and weight of these optics. I told a buddy who is into competitive 22LR shooting and he's...

Night Vision Help with thermal for budget short range hog rifle.

With my ThOR 4 on top of my 6.5 CM I would have zero issues shooting to 400 yards. There is a ballistic app you can use for range and a range finder made by ATN ( I do not have one) that fits right next to the obj lens and sends info to the scope which then adjusts the reticle for your shot. It...

Night Vision Help with thermal for budget short range hog rifle.

Agree, Rerun7. I started with an ATN PS22 and like the day-night scope usage and had issues shooting where there was a lot of ambient light. Once I tried a buddies thermal I was ruined. It took me a year to move on and now I have one for my son, he seems to think the ThOR 4 is for him and the...

Night Vision Help with thermal for budget short range hog rifle.

8, Is so right! My ThOR 4 sits on my CMMG 6.5 and is lights out. I have punched TX hogs with .223's in the cranium and they still run. Not so with the 6.5CM. I love the pic and video capabilities as well. I do not think you will be disappointed. Bart

Night Vision Help with thermal for budget short range hog rifle.

It always comes down to $ with a thermal scope. I haven't looked at ATN's ThOR LT line but I have heard some good things about it. I personally have two ThOR's. One 4 and one 6 years old. Both run great and I couldn't be happier with the 30mm tube and light weight of the 4. Price wasn't terrible...

Night Vision Looking for Input on Thermal Scope Purchase

Had a blast breaking out the ATN's this past weekend. Awful weather, wind, and sleet but we still managed to decrease the feral hog population and a few coyotes too. This ThOR 4 384 4.5-18 worked great as you can see from the headshot on this hog at almost 200 yards with a 6.5cm. My son used...

Rifle Scopes Advice on some new Glass

LAW-DOG is right that Nikon's BLACK FX1000 should definitely be added to your list. MOA/MRAD illuminated or nonilluminated reticle it's up to you. Great reviews on this optic and a great price. I have taken mine to 727 yards and put down a number of feral hogs past 500 yards. These 6.5 cm's...

    Says 1/4" at 100 but it's actually 1/2"

I have participated in numerous Nikon related shoots and one of the first things I do is make sure all scopes are dialed in correctly. I have used 100's of scopes and I just haven't encountered the problem you had with 3 scopes. If you still have them I would return them to Nikon for...

    Says 1/4" at 100 but it's actually 1/2"

Sorry to hear that happened to you myro. In almost 10 years of doing freelance work with Nikon that is the first time I have heard about something like that happening to someone let alone 3 times. Did you return them to Nikon to be repaired or to the store for a replacement?

    Says 1/4" at 100 but it's actually 1/2"

Rock, Nikon will take care of making sure the scope is back to original specs, the greatness of a No-Fault Policy. I have helped guys who had scopes got through hurricanes, tornadoes and even a tree falling on their UTV. Nikon took care of them. I have already reached out and when he's ready...
