    RRS Anvil 30 for Binos?

    The tripod is a RRS 34. I am 6'1" and it is a little shorter than ideal with a spotter. I do have to hunch over a little bit. I went with the 34 to get a shorter package when folded and the height is perfect with a rifle.

    I dont think the bare Havak action is completely worth $1200. But I do believe the PH2 rifle is a great deal at its price.

    RRS Anvil 30 for Binos?

    I use the Anvil30 with a spotter. It's not as smooth as a ball head by any means. However, the advantages it provides when I do throw a rifle on it outweigh the disadvantage with the spotter for me.

    I know they have a disclaimer within QL that powders could vary up to +/- 10% between lots. With that in mind it could be way off.

    After changing case capacity to 51.3 grs. H20 and leaving all other variables the same, the estimated chamber pressure drops to 62,951 psi. That makes this load right at CIP max pressure spec. Again, QuickLOAD is only an estimation. Purely speculation, but it could be that the primer is flowing...

    Bipod help

    There are many people who buy a Harris and dump a bunch of money into it. (Pod locks, pic adaptors, feet) Just to realize they have just as much money invested as an Atlas for a, frankly, sub par product. Do it right the first time, you won't regret it.
