    This is all so interesting to me. I seemed to have got the most picky ass 6.5 AI barrel. It hates anything less than 140. It seems to be inconsistent with the 140’s. However it loves the norma 143’s and the 147 eld-m’s. Have no idea why my barre only seems to like heavy 6.5 loads.

    Welp as almost to answer my question. A gent by the name of mtxtwelve on instagram has an AT-X and was shooting a PRC Barrel. He stated that he has to have someone open up an AXSA bolt for him to accept the cartridge, but the action cycled the round just fine in the video.

    So looking through the proof website today, it says they make a 6.5 PRC barrel for the AXSA. I guess I wrongly assumed the PRC was a long action caliber. Anyone running the hot rod in the AXSA? If so where did you source the bolt head for it?

    Any of the 6.5 shooters on here finding the same inconsistency issues as me with Hornady 140 eldms of late? I buy one lot number and it’s a one hole .3- .5 moa max shooter. The next lot of ammo is barely moa. This is through my AX.
