    Chronographs?

Re: Chronographs? I understand the price point. But I have spent in excess of $500.00 on other chronographs over the last 20 years and this one is the easiest to use by far. It is reliable and repeatable as well. Good luck with your choice.

    Gunsmithing Mike Lucas bore guides

Re: Mike Lucas bore guides I bought 4 last spring for different rifles and they are worth every penny. He even does them for rifles such as a Kimber action which was a huge plus.

    Chronographs?

Re: Chronographs? Why not the magnetopeed? It has a memory card and attaches to the barrel, no need for a tripod and is easy to switch between guns.

    CFE223 Good Results

Re: CFE223 Good Results I use it. 47.5 gr with a 175SMK, .5moa load. IN my hunting 308 I use 51.0 gr under a 150 gr Sierra Pro hunter or Hornady SST and it is a hammer. Already killed one deer with the SST this year. I really like it.

    M1A Woes

Re: M1A Woes Do not leave the gas plug loose. If you are worried about binding put some anti-seize on the threads. There are a lot of moving parts that have to come back to the same spot in order to shoot accurately in an M1A. Mine shoots moa with most bullets but hates PPU, go figure. You...

    Reloading Military Brass

Re: Reloading Military Brass A primer crimp is a small piece of the case that is swaged into place around the edge of the primer. If you try to place a primer in the pocket without removing the crimp, it will not go in or you will ruin a primer trying.

Hey y'all, looking to buy a utility rifle

Re: Hey y'all, looking to buy a utility rifle I bought the exact rifle you need, not but three weeks ago. Get a Tikka Lite Stainless in 308. It was $499.00 at Cabelas and shoots lights out. Put a decent scope on it and you have a killer. Tikka's are built by SAKO and have an excellent...

Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass?

Re: Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass? I would say the 1st one. It certainly isn't obsolete.

Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass?

Re: Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass? Oh, Ok. I bought 100 new Remington 280 cases, and just loaded them up to fire form not expecting much and the Hornady 139gr load shot less than.5MOA. Needless to say I put some "regular" 280 cases aside with this load to hunt with.

Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass?

Re: Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass? I know you are looking for new brass. Is there a reason you don't fire form your own cases from 280 Rem?

    Good Dial Caliper

Re: Good Dial Caliper I picked up a set of Mitutoyo absolute zero calipers and there is no comparison to the cheapy FA's or other plastic type. Spend the money on good calipers, you will use them all the time.

    Tikka T3 Sporter Opinions?

Re: Tikka T3 Sporter Opinions? I was not a believer, so I bought a cheap T3 Lite in 308 and I am an absolute believer now. I have owned just about every brand of rifle of the years. It is one of the slickest actions, best out of the box trigger, and absolutely incredible accuracy for a 7 lb...

    .223 and .308 powder

Re: .223 and .308 powder My go to powder right now is CFE 223 for both of those rounds. It is a ball powder and meters great in my Dillon 650. I run both 175 SMK and 155 Nosler Comp bullets using that powder. I believe I am using 47 gr. for the 175 SMK's.

    .280 Ackley Improved Feeding Problems

Re: .280 Ackley Improved Feeding Problems MIne is a pure hunting rifle at 6lbs 14 oz all up and it is a Kimber, I like the CRF. I have found it to be a very accurate cartridge, pretty easy to load for and hits like a ton of bricks. I have only shot hunting style bullets, BT's, NP's, AB's...

    Kimber 84m vs Rem 700

Re: Kimber 84m vs Rem 700 I own 3 Kimbers, an 84M in 260, a 84L in 280AI and a classic 22lr. For a pure hunting tool you can't do any better without spending more money. Light, svelte, smooth and the stock is one of the best designed for recoil in a light rifle. My one issue with customer...
