    Re: which bullet ? Depends on the accuracy you can get. The BT's shoot better in my rifle than the Amax's in that weight range.

    Re: Superperformance 178 .308 It could be the 178 Amax bullet they use. My rifle hates them. I have found them to shoot about the same as yours. FGMM is definitively a good baseline.

    Re: Factory Federal GMM Question The 7.62 is not the same as the FGMM 175. It is slower and not as accurate. The brass does have crimped in primers as well. It is fine for plinking but I wouldn't try to use it for any serious accuracy.

    Re: 308 all-around load????? I use 44.5 gr. Varget, Lapua Brass trimmed to 2.005, Berger 175 Hunting bullets, set 0.020 off the lands. Greta round for hunting whitetails and accurate out to 1000 yds.
