    Like you stated in your post I would pick one off features you want and not glass,both are great scopes. I actually just sold a Schmidt to buy a kahles only for the skmr3 and lsw.

    This is the nicest chassis design I have seen! If I had to imagine a skeleton inside a conventional stock this would be it(sounds weird,I know)..Ergos look great. My only concern would be vibration through the grip area,I think the timber will help this a bit.

    Fast Twist .270 Winchester

    I use a 8t 270 barrel.The lightest I have tried were cutting edge 140gr and 150gr ABLR the 150’s were doing around 3400fps and shoot really well out of my 27 nosler. Can’t help you with the 130’s but in other fast twist scenarios the Nosler BT’s hold up pretty good being spun hard.

    I would say #4 contour,this will also depend on your action as most dedicated 338 lap/Norma actions require a 1.3-1.35” diameter barrel. Don’t be afraid to go shorter on the barrel I built mine at 23” and it still performed great,vv570 was the ticket.

    If your looking to use the barricade setup it’s great! For a bipod only I’ve never had a RRS come loose or slide on other rails,I use both.
