    I first bought the Midas Tac and recently got the Ares ETR. Both are great scopes. The Midas is very, very close to the ETR at half the price. Athlon's customer service is great also. Highly recommend.

    I love my little MKII BTVLSS. Yep, I'm a lefty so my options are a little more limited overall. Once I found its preferred ammo (Wolf Match), it shoots tiny little groups at 50 yds as long as I am up to the task.

    I take 5 measurements with each new bullet I'm trying out and use the average. Only takes a few minutes and I feel better about my seating depth.

    My Savage 12 in .223 is enjoyable. I recently put it in a XLR chassis and replaced the factory barrel with a Criterion. It's a light recoil rifle that my wife and son also can enjoy shooting.

    I have a Savage 12 in .223 in a XLR chassis that I enjoy shooting, but if I were to sell it, I wouldn't expect to get anywhere near that price. Way too high IMHO.

    Dittos on your review. I’ve got the 24x and really enjoy it. Head and shoulders above the Diamondback Tacticals at a somewhat similar price point.
