    WaltHer, thanks for the explanation. I wasn't sure if the side rails came into play. Do you feel that the weld where the interface meets the bipod body will hold up under repeated heavy loading? That looks like it could be a potential point of failure. I'm anxious to see what Kasey comes up...

    WaltHer, great pics of the EI bipod, probably the best I've seen. I'm still not clear on how it attaches to the HTI rail, though, can you provide more detail? I'm anxiously awaiting information on the heavy duty Atlas before deciding which to buy.
