    Re: Remington or Sako extractor on new bolt? Rockset is a semitransparent adhesive similar to super glue. Surefire uses it to secure their muzzle devices. For removal, soak in hot water. For even more permanent applications you could use epoxy.

    Re: Headspace gage bushing help Those so called headspace gauges are really comparators. What you are doing is comparing your fired brass with your sized brass to make sure you are bumping the shoulder back to your intended specs. On a bolt gun, usually .001-.002 less than your fired brass.

    Re: Head spacing for AR On my gas guns, I bump the shoulders back .004 using regular dies. The only times I've ever had the need for small based dies is when using once fired mil-surp brass fired out of full auto guns.

    Re: Please help me with Scope Rings & Base With your set up, I would go low or even super low rings. I have the super lows on an m24 contour barrel, the 20 moa base and a Nightforce 5.5-22x50 and it's so close that I can't use the Butler Creek flip up caps.

    Re: Seating VLD type bullets I had the same problem. What I did was to drill the recess to allow the tip to fit into the seater without bottoming out. Then I was having problems with the profile of the VLDs having a ring impressed into it. So I ended up buying the VLD seater insert anyway.
