    8541 Tactical has a youtube video of what a bad extractor will do, which is what you're seeing. On that note, I'd replace the extractor and replace the factory firing pin spring for good measure.

    All I know is the Legacy chassis interferes with a pin that moves laterally when the safety is applied on the Timney trigger. What I do, instead of modifying the chassis, is to slowly grind the pin on the left side of the trigger down just enough to gain some room so that the safety will work.

    Just curious. Did you installed the lug on the barreled action to see if the lug bottoms out before the action does or did you just slip the lug into the cutout to check?

    I've used two Holland recoil lugs on the AICS and have had to shorten the lug because it would bottom out in the lug cutout on the chassis.

    Is the chassis a new one? Is the mag hitting the bolt? If used, did someone have it bedded and then have the bedding removed along with some of the chassis material? If everything looks right, I'd look into shortening the mag latch.
