Also with a small set of needle nose pliers, try to swap out the gen 3 mag release spring with your gen 4 spring and see if that lightens it up. The gen 4 addendum doesn't say they are not interchangeable.- josh1982

The only other thing I will add to this is be prepared to pay for mill tools since the factory slide sits at a 68 Rockwell with the nitration process that covers those slides now. Long T3 action screws
Should be the M6x___ allen head screw. Take your factory screw with you and go up a size or two in length. Hardware store will be the cheapest option for sure. I picked up spares from Tacoma Screw near my house but they are common enough to be found at lowes, home depot, etc.- josh1982

Tikka T3 bolt handle question....
Apologies if my Google-fu failed me but I'm wondering if anyone out there has run the UK Gunworks cranked T3 bolt handle and if so, was it much different good or bad compared to Hinterland Shooters handle for said curve? I'm liking the idea of the slight curve in the handle but cant really tell...- josh1982

I guess it really depends on how you plan on holstering it. If its on a belt or ankle, I like the HK P2000SK, G26 or even a S&W 940 revolver (wifes). For pocket carry, hard to beat the Kahr all steel frames (I hate their poly framed guns). I see the Shield gaining in popularity but haven't shot...- josh1982

bolt action or semi-auto?
For "precision" I have a Savage Mark II FV-SR and love the hell out of it for the accu trigger and threaded barrel. For all else and AR training I have a S&W M&P 15-22.
