    I heard on a vortex podcast That they are running CTRs as test guns. They mentioned retiring one around 5000 rounds that went from .3 to .5+ MOA. They mentioned they have a couple in circulation with around 3000 rounds that are still holding tight.

    Probably a stretch for this thread... Here is an old Rem 700 ADL 22-250 I did this winter. Redid the stock, Cleaned up the metal, worked on the trigger, and removed the sights. It’s already taken a couple coyotes this year to break it in.

    I’m considering that. It just makes for a real heavy 556. I’m still up in the air. I have a 1 to 6 GEN two on a 14 1/2 inch gun as well. But the 1-10 is pretty impressive once you get behind it.

    Thanks for your reply! I’m leaning to #3 as well. As for people slamming the brand or suggesting others I have no doubt you are correct. Vortex is pretty active in this community sponsoring events, creating jobs, and Answering any questions at their facility. I will stay loyal to them.
