    I got nothing... What twist is your barrel? What free bore was your reamer? Maybe has something to do with the 147 ELDs jamming at normal COLs in lots of PRC chambers?

    You have something weird going on. I have about 400 rounds of 147 ELDs out of my 1:8 twist 6.5 PRC, going faster than yours, with zero “blow ups”.

    The comments about a Creedmoor doing “99% of what the PRC does” assumes your handloading the Creedmoor but using factory PRC ammunition. Which doesn’t make sense. Compare factory to factory and handload to handload

    Are you running them slow? My two 6XC barrels were toast at the 1200-1300 round mark.

    Same. Just had a 6cm go from shooting in the 0.3-0.4s to barely shooting MOA at the 850-900 round mark. Velocity stayed pretty consistent.

    The MPR has lots of things going for it. A super slick action is not one of them. Mine was rough out of the box, but certainly not the worst I’ve felt. I have about 300 rounds on mine and about as many dry fires/cycles and it’s smoothed out a bit. But it’s still “loose”.
