    Mounts: QD or Regular for return to zero?

    I'm not a fan of QD mounts in most cases. In my experience, it's quite common for the QD mounts to be either too tight, or too loose. I prefer the simplicity of a regular one piece mount and fix it sticks. I have much more piece of mind with that setup, which is what really matters.

    Do you really want to push pressure for velocity? Run a longer barrel or even better, run a different cartridge. The drop/drift you eliminate by picking up an extra 50fps isn't that significant.

    I'm thinking the same thing... Might just give up on this MLR and buy a KAC mod 2, those are less expensive and more available. I'd be a bit disappointed though, I already have a MRP pistol and MWS, so I'd rather get another LMT, but it is what it is.

    16" 308s are mid length, 18" and 20" barrels are rifle length. I don't believe LMT has ever made a +2" system.

    $400 for a mount is kind of crazy. People have been have been reliably mount scopes long before spur and badger c1s existed. For AR mounting... I like used NF unimounts. You can find them for $150-175.
