    I'd also add... cheap steel case ammo isn't a thing anymore. I purchased my bren 2 with the intent of shooting cheap steel case, that plan hasn't worked out. Not much of a reason to get a x39 anymore (unless you are already invested in mags and ammo).

    Take a look at the CZ bren 2 in 7.62x39. It doesn't use an opened up 223 bolt, it's a legit x39 bolt and the proprietary mags work much more reliably than anything you'll find out of an ar15/ar10 lower.

    Yeah, this has my attention. Any more information? I'm looking for a LPVO. I've seen mixed reviews on the NX8 and razor gen 3. The ATACR and razor 1-6 are just a bit heavier than I'd prefer. An updated mark 6 might be exactly what I'm looking for.

    Arca bipod

    I have an atlas supercal, and I love it, provides a bit more adjustability than the regular cal, which is especially nice when shooting off the ground. It's just a hair more expensive, but worth it. Also, it's a little bit heavier so it acts as a weight system for me when not in use.

    Thanks! I think I'm going to give it a try, I don't think a more forceful strike will hurt anything, it's still using the same firing pin and I do like to know that I could use it for any platform with any ammo.

    So do you think the ar10 trigger could be used in an ar15? I have a MWS with a SSA-E, but I'm thinking about picking up a diamond. I might opt for the ar10 version and if I don't like it in the MWS, I'd like to drop it into an AR15.

    definitely switch to the NF rings/mounts. Its free weight savings. Also... get that barrel reprofiled. Between a stock, new mount/rings and barrel profile, you probably have another 12 ounces you can save.
