    Rifle Scopes NF ATACR parallax

Normal. But drives me batshit crazy. I wish they wouldn't have numbers, or would have a screw(s) for the user to loosen and reset to their actual turret and thus the numbers like you re-zero your windage knob. It's an OCD thing for me!!!

    Rifle Scopes Mountain Rifle Scope

Zeiss Conquest V6 3-18x50 has 110MOA of travel and is 22 oz. Mine is on a Ti and Carbon 6.5 GAP 4S and has been shot out to 1380 repeatedly. Took two deer last year and held up very well to hard hunting use including falling on it while strapped to the side of the pack while packing out meat...

    Rifle Scopes Zeiss V6 Tracking

Keep us posted! Mine has been spot on and error free so far, however it's packed much more than it's shot. But, it's held up to hunting bumps, brush, and falls real well. I keep checking the turrets out of habit, but haven't had any move on me while hunting yet, even while on my gun bearer and...

    Tempest Builds..Lets See em

I'm in the same boat, I just need to bite the bullet. I have 750 dasher brass ready to go, just no barrel or dies! Maybe when this barrel burns out!

    Tempest Builds..Lets See em

Love my PRS2, but it took some time! That's what mine is in now. I swap between that and a KMW Sentinel.

    Tempest Builds..Lets See em

George told me you can tell by looking at it on the side profile. It should be basically just above the red aluminum. If it's even or below, it's probably the dropped sear version. But, if yours runs it is probably the rem 700 standard model. Mine would drop the firing pin as soon as the bolt...

    Tempest Builds..Lets See em

Update to my post above, the B&A trigger hangar was perfect for the TT Diamond version that I had (the one with .028 lower sear). Finally, my Tempest is running the way I want it to. On a positive note, there were 3 Defiance and 1 Surgeon in camp with me and we all spent a lot of time on each...

Rifle Scopes New Nightforce scope - is this normal?

My ATACR 7-35 is worse, and has glue blobs where the little notch is in that ring by the threads. Hasn't effected anything so far through.

Rifle Scopes How is everyone liking the NF 7-35?

I agree with this. The reticle and turret legibility are what made me switch my PMII. I do prefer the eyebox, color, and clarity of my PMII however. It's just easier to get behind. The only thing I DONT like on the 7-35 is the parallax. The PMII has probably the best parallax of any scope. The...

NEW - Atlas CAL (Cant and Loc) Bipod - PRE-ORDER (added 12.14)

Pretty awesome customer service here. I had the same cant issues, and understood it was immediately meant for those who want a solid lock up like a BR guy, so put my Harris back on for my match. I was about to list it and swap with another Harris, and thought I would check the Hide for any...

    Magpul Bipod

For that price I'll stick with Harris.

Rifle Scopes PST Gen 2 vs VX3i LRP

Hmmm, I won a 4.5-14 LRP and have been going back and forth on selling or keeping. Now I'm even more torn.

Rifle Scopes 56mm Objective on manners eh1

I have a 56mm obj with my EH1 and need a Defensive Edge Kydex cheek rest. Granted it's not much higher, probably .5", but it's higher than the stock for the perfect cheek alignment. I would say 50mm and below. If you want a 56mm, just get the DE Cheek piece. It's very awesome, and very light...

Rifle Scopes How rugged are the Athlon Cronus scopes?

I ran one in a couple matches (~500 round) before moving to a PMII when the prices dropped. I had zero mechanical issues during my short time with it. The bottom line is there is very few that have been exposed to enough bumps and bruises to give you non laboratory real world results yet I would...

    Tempest Builds..Lets See em

Got off the phone with GAP. After working with several of their guys over the last week (ALL very helpful), they passed it to George. Sounds like I have an early TT Diamond with a .028 sear drop, which they did to mirror the B&A sear drop on early diamond models for increased lock time. The...

Cz factory .17HMR barrel quality and alternate options

My factory CZ 452 .17HMR is my only true 1 hole gun. Shot my first ever 5 shot 1 hole group with it. And that is a tiny hole when you walk up to the target! I've probably killed at least a thousand whistle pigs with a HMR! Great for mornings and evenings when the wind is calm. Shoot a .17 at...

    Arca type rail options

Curious myself. I have the PRS2 with their MPA barricade rail and it's very nice for barricades with the various stops you can put in. The ONLY thing I'd like is the ability to put a bipod up towards the action for shooting off a damn barrel.

Rifle Scopes Scope Slip & Loctite on Mounts - S&B Scope w/ Spuhr Mount

I use a Spurh and S&B PMII on my 300 Win Mag. While not as bad as yours, I send the 215's at 3,000 fps. I have had no issues, and I do not use rosin. Blue Loctite at 15 inch pounds is all I do.

    Rifle Scopes NF 7-35x56 Parallax

I have substantial time adjusting this diopter and have employed many others with the same results. I did the same concept as you however, I played with it and parallax at many different ranges trying to find a setup that was in focus and a reticle nice and sharp. While I agree it has a wide...

    Rifle Scopes NF 7-35x56 Parallax

Will do. Like I said, it only really matters due to how I personally employ this scope in a match. It's a style thing that has served me very well, and I prefer to do it this way. If employed in any other scenario without a time limitation, I wouldn't care or even look at the parallax. After the...
