    To cash out or no?

yep. I withdrew 5000 on Friday and they asked me my occupation. Said they had to report it to the Gov't. AKC lab pups are selling at 800 bucks each on C list. So if you get enough cash to buy a litter of pups the gov't wants to know it.

    To cash out or no?

If they can dump 600 bucks into your account they can also take out from that account. They could just say any account over 50,000 is for fit to the gov't new reparations trust for poor african americans. What would that poll number be? 60% approval? 70%? Everyone would just laugh at the saps...

Borescope Time: What am I looking at here?

I think that is where the reamer caught a chip and gouged a groove while it was boring the barrel. Then the button was run through . I've got one just like that on a BA barrel for a AR. If you want to see a shocking barrel look down a Japanese T bolt. Mine looks awful. Shoots just "ok".

    308win 1/9 twist downside?

Got a Defiance Deviant short action/08 boltface off the post exchange(thanks Nbot). Now thinking of a 308 win with a 1/9 twist. I might want to mess around with some sub sonic loads but don't want to go down to the 300 blackout 1/8 twist. Anyone here shoot some of the lighter bullets in a 1/9...

    “Precision” AR accuracy expectations?

Looks good to me. I'll add my one cent worth. To get better with a AR get yourself a hold sensitive pellet gun. A Beeman R1 or a R9. They will drive you crazy at first but with a few tins of pellets you'll get to be able to stack 'em. A AR is a hold sensitive rifle for many of the same...

    Criterion CORE series barrels

Yes the button slips a bit and usually all button barrels are a tad slower than the twist on the button. The button will have had a 1-8 twist but the process of pushing it through the barrel usually makes it slower. Calling Frank Green of Bartlien to say how much slower but I think it is minor...

    Criterion CORE series barrels

These are button rifled so the twist is usually slower than they are listed. With that short barrel and lower velocity I would guess your not able to stablize your bullet. Need to stick with 65gr and under.

    Opinions on AR10 caliber

Thread hijack! Everyone talks about the 7mm/08 having less recoil than the .308. I looked and found two 150gr factory loads. 7mm/08 had 2611 foot pounds of energy and the 308 had 2648. Won't that mean the recoil is pretty much the same? Does the wider bullet kick harder??? Never shot them side...

    New To Semi-Autos

Hmm.......should beat that. GM barrels arn't the greatest but they should be 1.5 inch at 100 yrs with that scope, trigger, good ammo on a still day. uhhhhh.....have you had someone else shoot it? Do you wear good hearing protection? Could be a flinching issue. That sneaks up on us all and is...

    New To Semi-Autos

Go to compass lake engineering web page and get the Douglas ready to ship barrel. Go to fleabay and get some Loctite 609 retaining compound. Go to Larue and get the MB2 trigger. Take the GM barrel out. Glue in the CLE barrel. Don't worry about ever getting it apart just toss the whole kit and...

    Opinions on AR10 caliber

Good time to build. Parts and ammo have never been more plentiful or cheap! Ok now that that is out of the way......The AR10s are a bit finicky even with .308 ammo. I wouldn't build one in one of those calibers unless it is strictly to be a range toy. If that is the case go for the 7/08! IF...

    Winchester M70

If it has the original stock it will be cracked at the interwebbing in front of the trigger. If your's isn't cracked just look closer LOL. Every single pre-64 70 I've inspected has been cracked there. Like the old LC Smith shotguns the designers had a very high opinion of the strength of black...

    Finishing a 308 build. Had a PSA .308 20" gen3 barrel left over.

I've had detents and springs left over but never a barrel. Have you looked down into the handguard to make sure you put a barrel on the upper? One time I did try to install two Giessele high speed national match triggers on my ar build to try to duplicate the double set triggers on my...
