    my son chased a zero, shot groups the size of a plate sometimes, aske me to shoot it , same thing i. i grab the barrel to move the rifle and i here a clunk, the action screws were loose tighten them up, all is fine, we were blaming the scope and the mounts

    i prefer the garmin , i like the gps, if you set your tgts across the desert you can find them again and have the ranges to tgts. agreed if your getting bolth why the question?

    not sure where you live, but if theres any chance of hitting the ocean i would go 12 ft or longer. i run a 12 and a 15 in the ocean. the 15 ft i can put my rods in the hull for beach landings.

    speaking of time management , do most teams split time in 1/2 ? or let first shooter finish and second shooter gets what time is remaining? if a shooter is struggling on a stage can he be pulled and the second shooter pick up where the first shooter left off? sorry for the stupid questions.

    does each shooter in a team need a tripod ? i have 1 tripod for a rifle and a smaller 1 for binos and range finder, would this work for a team to shoot the match? me and my son are new to precision rifle, we are not going to be knocking on the door of the top 20,

    so this is what i did, i roughly set lop with the 90 deg finger to crook at elbow method. got into prone closed my eyes , relaxed my body, open my eyes. scope to high so i raised cheek piece so scope was right hieght. next did the same with eyes and body and moved scope for and aft to have no...

    i shoot alot on public lands in nevada much like the picture above, assuming the white spot is the tgt and i cant get a hit on the range finder. i would range that big bush and estimate distance from bush to tgt and add the two together.
