    That was helpful for looking up the year(s) they were produced! Mine was made in 2002, which would have been when I mounted it to a BushMaster Varminter Rifle that I purchased. That rifle sucked BTW, shot tiny groups at 100 yards but sucked ass at 300! Total crap, so I sold it.

    Very cool to see those photo(s) from you guys!! I wondered why the Mark 4's had the rubberized emblem and the older ones marked Tactical, so that makes sense for purging them. Did Leupold Make the caps marked 7.62 M118 LR 175 for you?

    I reinstalled the scope on my Kimber 6.5/300 WSM Montana to test fire it, as expected the first round went AWOL, but the next three rounds were pretty much as expected. The scope is obviously In working order.

    Yes that's true too, but the 3.5-10x40mm M3 3/4 Mil Dot P/N 51850 don't use the tall target knobs, they came with four elevation caps for each cartridge/ammunition used, and only came in matte black. Plus the Multi Coat 4 lens coatings found on all VX III's. The Mark 4's are listed on the...

    Even in the M3 long range version? I remember the boxes that the mark 4's came in being huge, but I don't remember the weight of the two scopes being different........ But that was well over two decades ago.

    25x47 Lapua load data

    I’m getting 2,850-2,880 w/41.2 H4350 and depending on the primer used. But I also have a custom reamer that has a .195” FB. I’m using 2.820” COAL with the 135 LRHT @.050” off and still not compressing powder. But I also have a 27” bbl.
