Maggie’s Ring my Bell- California Fire caught on Right Door bells

This happened to my family when i was maybe 19. It was a MUCH smaller fire. My dad never called or communicated with me while at work but when he said "get home" i knew it was bad. Turns out some lady around the hill had a fire pit party she did not put out properly.

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

Pins are where I was going to connect the pvc poles for towing. On the other end they attach to the hip belt of my back pack. The issue is PVC over 6 feet has more sag then i planned so the carriage rides nose down. I am trying to copy a pulk sled design where it pulls up from the front of a...

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

Need some advice from you more engineering savvy types. As posted previous, i welded some axle brackets to mount a split board to a tow behind kids chariot for winter use. I need to build a support brace for the front to secure too. Should i build an arc roughly following the 5 gallon bucket...

Shadow Tech tripod and Hog saddle

Another happy customer. I shoot my ar10, 6.5cm aiat, various other ars off of it. Its stable enough once you learn to shoot IPSC torsos at 500 yards standing with no sling (pretty good for me, maybe not impressive for some)

What and how do you take to the range?

I am not so thin skinned that he bothers me. Responses like his are unfortunate because they do nothing to further a discussion, and push new members away. This sport is growing rapidly so be prepared for a lot of dumb questions. This thread has derailed multiple times, and has just become proof...

What and how do you take to the range?

What an ignorant post. Seems like a pretty big waste of time to read an entire thread already knowing that your "goals and issues" are so vastly different from all other shooters (even though, fundamentally your "goals" probably boil down to improved marksmanship...LIKE ALL OF US). Please...

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

Im rocking a pair of Sparks. Love them, so light and fast. They mount so low compared to the DIY kit. Ultimately just a better experience in the hills. Thanks for the feed back. Im so excited to get my girl(s) out. Cant wait to be shown up!!!

I am aware. Thank you. It was a humorous reply comparing mountain biking to mogul skiing.

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

Its not moguls, but close and inspirational. https://digg.com/video/danny-macaskill-daycare Good eye! My wife switched years ago to skis.... im a slow learner, but there is something to be said about riding a real split board. I bought a Jones Solution and IT...IS...AWESOME!!!. But still...

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

Living in the PNW my wife and i are active all year long, and intend to bring our (currently) 4 month old daughter with us. Picked up a tow behind bike trailer for her, and decided to make ski attachments from my old DIY split board. Finished pics tomorrow.

What and how do you take to the range?

What part cracks you up? This is exactly why internet forums exist. To ask questions to other like minded people around the globe. It seems most of us have a similar issue in that range day just has a ton of stuff to take. I was hoping to hear some ways to more efficiently manage my gear, but...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Heard about these in Europe. Pretty cool concept, but it would really depend on the (untrained) responder listening to the prompts from AED, but then again they all do. I have also seen they have mobile ECLS where they can cannulate in the field. Sounds exciting and infection prone!

What and how do you take to the range?

So ultimately what I am hearing (other than the lucky few that have a personal range) range days are kind of a bitch with all the gear. If thats the case I probably wont change much other than try to leave mags I dont need at home. I also found some zippered canvas bags on amazon that I'm going...

What and how do you take to the range?

Sorry if this has been covered. I looked and could only find hard vs soft case or foam cutting/ configuration threads. I once forgot to bring mags for a gun to the range. Since then i bought a huge Midway usa ar15 range bag and left out all the magazine dividers. I carry a few mags for every...

Maggie’s The truth is out there

Space draws a lot of raw emotion from people. I love space and physics. My wife has anxiety attacks when talking about space colonies, and exploring the final frontier. I think that it was a good parenting moment. You (knowingly) exposed your kids to a topic of controversy, and there is nothing...
